Boating Accident: C18-91996
As previously released, on May 4, 2018, at approximately 11:15 p.m. the Winnipeg Police Service was advised that a boat capsized on the Red River in the area of Chief Peguis Trail Bridge. Officers attended the area and learned that three adult males were able to safely make it to shore, however one male remained unaccounted for.
   
On May 12, 2018, Winnipeg Police were notified that a body was located in the Red River in the area of Main Street and Benn Avenue. An adult male was removed from the river and subsequently identified as the missing male. The family has been notified.
