Gaming/Betting Arrest – R14-80409
On September 4, 2014, the Manitoba Liquor and Gaming Authority conducted an investigation into an illegal NFL Fantasy Football pool that was being operated in the City of Winnipeg. The pool invited players to wager on the outcomes of NFL football games, with entries being accepted through an online website, or in person at several local businesses throughout the City.
