Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Monday, April 8, 2013       ATTEMPT SEXUAL ASSAULT C13-64502 On April 7, 2013 at approximately 6:20 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to an attempt sexual assault incident that just occurred in the area of Burrows Avenue and Aikins Street involving a 26 year old female victim.   Officers discovered that the victim was approached by an unknown male who began walking with her and asking several questions. The male eventually put his arms around the victim and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim pushed the suspect away and was able to flee the area. She was not injured.   The suspect is described as:   Male Approximately 18 years of age Aboriginal in appearance Medium build Approximately 200 lbs. Orange/blonde hair   The investigation is continuing by members of the Division 13 Crime Unit.
