COMMERCIAL ROBBERY C13-66256
On April 10, 2013 at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers responded to a commercial robbery incident at a convenience store located in the 1800 block of Ness Avenue.
 
The investigation has revealed that two armed suspects entered the business and confronted two adult male staff. Cash and cigarettes were demanded and an undisclosed amount was obtained. The suspects fled and no injuries were reported.
 
The suspects are described as:
 
Suspect 1 - Male, Caucasian, in his twenties, 5'10" tall and thin build.
 
Suspect 2 – Male, Caucasian, in his twenties, 5'8"-5'10" tall and average build.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

 

 
SUSPICIOUS C13-65685
Between April 8th and April 9th, 2013 a suspicious vehicle and occupant was observed in the vicinity of the 100 block of Red River Boulevard on two occasions.
 
Witnesses report that a lone male was observed taking pictures in an area close to where children socialize and play. No contact was made with the children however his behaviour was interpreted as being suspicious in nature.
 
The suspect is described as: having black shoulder length layered hair.  
 
The suspect vehicle is described as: Silver/Grey Honda Accord, 2 Door.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the District 3 Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2848 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
