Winnipeg Police Service-News Release:

  STRONG-ARM ROBBERY ARRESTS    C13-62363
 

 
Since early April 2013, members of the Winnipeg Police Service have responded to several strong-arm robbery incidents at various locations in central Winnipeg.
 
Although these matters are being investigated individually, some similarities have been noted.
 
The investigations have revealed that the victims were confronted by one or two suspects demanding money and/or property. An undisclosed amount of cash and personal property has been reported stolen. The victims were not injured.
 
During some of these occasions, the suspects identified themselves as undercover police officers.
 
As a result of an investigation conducted by the Division 11 Crime Unit, the following persons were arrested and charged as follows:
 

  • Raymond Dwayne Chartrand 25 years of Winnipeg is charged with Robbery x3 and Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • Donald Henry Bremaud 38 years of Winnipeg is charged with Robbery x2 and Fail to Comply with Probation Order x2
  • Mark Hurdon 22 years of Winnipeg is charged with Robbery x4, Impersonate Police Officer x2, and other court order related charges

 
All accused were later detained.
