Winnipeg Police Service News Release:

Thursday, April 11, 2013     WARRANT – ARREST C13-66519 On April 10, 2013 at approximately 1:45 p.m., members of the District 3 Community Support Unit conducted a traffic stop while in the area of Mountain Avenue and Sinclair Street.   During the traffic stop, it was determined that a passenger of the vehicle provided officers with a false name. Further investigation confirmed his true identity and revealed an outstanding Apprehension Warrant.    It was at this time the male passenger fled on foot. The officers, including members of the K9 Unit pursued the male suspect.
