WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 24th, 2010 4:20 p.m. FIREARM INCIDENT C10-268664 On Wednesday, November 24th, 2010 at approximately 12:30 p.m. the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the area of the 700 block of Aberdeen Avenue for a report of a male who was in possession of firearm. Numerous police units responded to the scene. Officers have learned that a firearm discharge occurred during the act of a robbery. The 51 year old male victim did not sustain any injuries. One male is in custody at this time and officers are continuing to interview a number of witnesses in relation to this incident. This investigation is on going by members of the Division 13 Crime Unit. This investigation is in the early stages and therefore no further information will be provided until tomorrow.
