Saturday, November 27, 2010 MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION INVOLVING STOLEN VEHICLE C10-270689 On November 27th, 2010 at approximately 6:10 a.m., uniform members were dispatched to the area of Saskatchewan Avenue and King Edward Street regarding a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles. At this stage of the investigation, it appears that a stolen GMC Yukon travelling eastbound on Saskatchewan Avenue collided with a Chevrolet Uplander travelling southbound on King Edward Street. A nearby light standard and hydro pole was also struck as a result of the collision. Both vehicles sustained extensive front end damage. The occupants of the stolen vehicle fled the area on foot. The victim in the Chevrolet Uplander was treated for non-life threatening injuries. A male youth has been taken into custody. The investigation is continuing by members of the Stolen Auto Unit.
