COMMERCIAL BREAK & ENTER C10-244776 C10-272150
Sometime between October 24th and October 25th, 2010, the Wildewood Club located in the Fort Garry area of Winnipeg was subject to a break and enter, resulting in extensive damage and theft of property.
 
The investigation revealed that windows were smashed within the facility, including damage to merchandise and electronics. The total damage is estimated at $10,000.00. The suspects also removed liquor, cash and food estimated at $3000.00.
 
Sometime between November 28th and November 29th, 2010, the Wildewood Club was once again broken into and heavily damaged.
 
The club has sustained damage to windows, toilet fixtures, furniture and merchandise including substantial flooding. Due to the extent of the damage, the facility is temporarily non-operational. An early estimate of the damage is $100,000.00.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the District 6 Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding the incident or who may be responsible is asked to contact investigators at 986-2877 or CrimeStoppers at 786-TIPS (8477).
