Saturday, April 11, 2015     Drug Warrant Arrests – C15-69419 Recently, members of the District 3 Community Support Unit became involved in a narcotics investigation regarding a residence in the 500 block of Besant Street.  As a result, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant was obtained.   On April 9th, with the assistance of Street Crime and Tactical Support Team members, the warrant was executed. Three males (23, 25 & 27 years) and two females (27 & 28 years) have been arrested for their alleged involvement.   The investigation has resulted in the seizure of the following: 22.9 ounces of cocaine with an estimated street value of $41,220.00 Approximately $20,000.00 in Canadian currency Packaging materials and drug paraphernalia Joel Richard BRUNEAU, 25 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - COCAINE x 2, Traffic in a Scheduled Substance (COCAINE), Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime & Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
