Commercial Robberies – C14-250323 C14-250973
On November 23, 2014 at approximately 12:15 a.m. and again at 9:50 p.m., a video store located in the 1300 block of Main Street was robbed.
 
During the first incident, an armed male suspect entered the business, confronted staff and demanded cash, cigarettes and other merchandise. The suspect fled and no one was injured.
 
During the second robbery, a male suspect entered and robbed the business in a similar fashion. Again, no one was injured and the suspect fled with cash and merchandise.
 
The suspect is described as:
 
Male, Aboriginal in appearance, approximately 30 years-old, medium build, between 5'8"- 5'10" tall, dark hair with some patchy facial hair.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding these incidents or further details regarding the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
Commercial Robbery – C14-251154
On November 24, 2014 at approximately 3:50 a.m., officers responded to a convenience store located in the 700 block of Mountain Avenue regarding a robbery that just occurred.
 
The suspect confronted staff and robbed the business of an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
 
Although the suspect indicated he was armed, no one injured.
 
The suspect is described as:
 
Male, Caucasian, 35 years-old, 5'8" tall and heavy build.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this incident or further details regarding the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
