Tuesday, November 4, 2014       Suspicious Item Located – C14-236271 On November 4, 2014 at approximately 7:30 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a hotel located in the 300 block of St. Mary Avenue regarding a suspicious item located in a lower level parkade.   As a result, the building was evacuated and several streets were closed to ensure public safety.   Members of the WPS Bomb Unit were notified and deployed. The area has since been deemed safe and public access has been restored. The suspicious item has been seized and will be further examined.   No further details are available at this time.   The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
