Friday, August 4, 2017       Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision Update: C17-171873     Both the truck and trailer in this investigation have been located. We thank the media and the public for their assistance.   ____________________________________________________________ As previously released: On August 3, 2017, at approximately 11:45 a.m., emergency services personnel responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in the 200 block of Marion Street.     The victim, a female in her sixties, was pronounced deceased at the scene.     The vehicle failed to remain at the scene. The suspect vehicle is described as a Dodge 1500 Crew Cab towing an enclosed trailer.     The trailer is still outstanding. It is described as a wedge enclosed unit manufactured by Stealth Trailers and has 'Stealth' written on the upper left side. It is a Titan model, with 'Titan' written on both sides of the trailer near the bottom. It is black in colour with pattern stainless steel as trim. The trailer will have damage to the left front fender.     This investigation is continuing by members of the Central Traffic Unit.
