Residential Parking Ban lifted

Winnipeg residents are advised that the Residential Parking Ban has been lifted as of 7:01 p.m. today, Monday, February 17.

The City of Winnipeg wishes to thank all Winnipeggers for their patience and cooperation during the residential (P3) street parking ban.

If some streets in a snow zone have been missed or only partially cleared, citizens are advised to call or email 311 to advise that their street has been missed. Crews will return in the coming days to address outstanding snow clearing requirements. In the meantime, residents can park on their street since the Residential Parking Ban only applied during the 12-hour period previously scheduled.

When plowing crews return, no additional parking restrictions will be imposed. However, residents are still encouraged to move their vehicles should they notice that their street is about to be plowed.

The Annual Snow Route Parking Ban remains in effect daily on streets designated as snow routes from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. until March 1, 2014.

Plowing operations were completed in accordance with the City Council-approved Snow Clearing and Ice Control Policy, which can be found online at
City of Winnipeg - Snow Clearing Policy.
