SHOTS – C14-37069
On February 20, 2014 at 3:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded for the report of shots fired in the 600 block of Magnus Avenue.
 
Responding officers arrived to find damage to the home consistent with having been the result of a firearm discharge.  Several persons were located within the residence and one male youth was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
No further information is available at this time.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
 
 
COMMERCIAL BREAK & ENTER INVESTIGATIONS – C14-12567
The Winnipeg Police Service has received the report of two recent commercial break & enters.  They include:

  • January 16, 2014 in the 1800 block of Ellice Avenue. 
  • January 17, 2014 in the 3900 block of Portage Avenue

In each incident personal property including identification and credit cards belonging to the victims was stolen and later used to fraudulently purchase items.
 
The Winnipeg Police Service is seeking the public and media's assistance in identifying the following three persons of interest.

 

 
 

Suspect #1 above is described as a: Caucasian male, 30-40 years, clean shaven and a medium build.  He is wearing a black jacket with red stripe on the arms, jeans and orange shoes.

Suspect #2 above is described as a: Caucasian male, 5'10" tall, 30-40 years of age, clean shaven and a medium build.  He is wearing a grey jacket, blue Under Armour track pants, white Toronto Maple Leafs toque and a gold chain.


 

Suspect #3 above is described as a: Caucasian male, 5'10" tall, 40 years of age, clean shaven witha heavy build.  He is wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans, lime green shirt / shoes and a San Francisco 49er's baseball hat.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit.  Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-2877 or CrimeStoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
