Drug Warrant Arrests – R14-90440
On December 17, 2014 members of the Marihuana Grow Operation Unit, with the assistance of Uniform and Tactical Support Team members, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances (CDSA) Search Warrant in the 400 block of Boyd Avenue.
 
As a result, two persons were arrested and the following was seized:

  • 167 Marihuana Plants with an estimated street value of $187,040.00
  • 12 ½ pounds dry Marihuana with an estimated street value of $31,250.00
  • Grow Equipment valued at $6,000.00
  • $17,000.00 in Canadian Currency

A 42-year-old male and 32-year-old female, both of Winnipeg are each facing charges of Produce a Scheduled Substance – CANNABIS (MARIHUANA), Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – CANNABIS (MARIHUANA) and Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime for their alleged involvement.
 
Both were released via Promise to Appear.
