View recent Residential Break and Enters in your neighbourhood. View recent Stolen Vehicles in your neighbourhood. CRIME PREVENTION TIP  Use Plant Placement To Your Security Advantage   • Protect and defend vulnerable areas around your home. Place a thorny plant under a window or in front of a fence. (i.e., Rosebushes or Blackberry). • Use plants to provide a clear border definition of controlled space. A two foot hedge around an unfenced yard will designate it as semi private and discourages entry.   Always consider a plant or trees size at maturity: Will it interfere with visibility? Big, bushy shrubs create hiding places and block views. Will it interfere with lighting?
