CONNECT WITH THE CADETS….DODGEBALL STYLE

Winnipeg Police Service Auxiliary Force Cadets Event
Since November 2010, the Winnipeg Police Service Cadets have been actively pursuing a safer community through visual presence and building positive relationships.  Part of what the Cadets offer is opportunities to interact with youth of all ages.  In the past, the Cadet Section has hosted "Kickin with Cadets" and this year we are adding "Connect with the Cadets… Dodgeball Style".

Connect with the Cadets Dodgeball style is an evening of activities that include rock climbing on a 50 foot indoor wall, various sports including basketball, floor hockey and the main event being Dodgeball.

This event is an opportunity to encourage youth to visit an incredible new facility and enjoy an evening of games and prizes, including food. The event will also provide opportunities for youth to sign up for various programs offered by Youth for Christ.

The Cadets have partnered with the Downtown Biz and Youth for Christ to host this event.

Members of the Cadets, Community Support Unit and "Copper", the Winnipeg Police Service mascot will be in attendance.
Members of the public, local businesses and members of the media are invited to attend:

  • When:     Wednesday, June 26, 2013, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Where:     Youth for Christ, 333 King Street
