The City of Winnipeg will be hosting a number of community workshops to further discuss progress on the Eastern Corridor Study project, review potential alignment options, and present recommended evaluation criteria.

Canoe Club Golf Course Reimagining Phase Two Information Session

Join us at a public information session to see how we took what we heard to develop some ideas to enhance current facilities, share the space, and incorporate additional activities.

Pembina Highway Speed Limit Review Information Session

Please join us at an information session or complete an online survey to let us know what you think about raising the speed limit on Pembina Highway south of the La Salle River Bridge. Your input, along with the speed limit review, will be considered in a recommendation to Standing Policy Committee on Infrastructure Renewal and Public Works.

Kilcona Park and Transcona Stadium Improvements

Many improvements and amenity upgrades have been completed or are being planned for Kilcona Park and the Transcona Stadium. On December 2, 2017, the public is invited to an information session to discuss the changes and to provide input.

Help Shape the Off-leash Dog Areas Master Plan

Go online and fill out both a survey and add to an online mapping tool to provide your feedback for the master plan to address and respond to growing interest and demand for off-leash dog areas in Winnipeg. You can also visit the team at a pop-up engagement event in the coming weeks to share your feedback in person. All park users are encouraged to contribute.

Adjustable bike lane curbs pilot

The City installed adjustable bike lane curbs in two locations to test installation methods, monitor maintenance, and assess the comfort level of users.

Engagement Updates

Preliminary 2018 Budgets tabled

Thank you to all those who participated in the Budget 2018 public engagement process. The preliminary capital and operating budgets have now been tabled. After the tabling of the budgets on November 22, 2017, the schedule of public meetings to hear delegations and consider the preliminary 2018 Operating and Capital budgets is now available. 

Members of the public are invited to continue participating in the budget process. To register as a delegation at any of the above committee meetings, please visit the City Clerk's webpage or contact 311.

Rue des Trappistes Public Engagment Summary

Thank you to everyone who came out to a public information session on September 27, 2017. Roughly 24 people signed in and 14 exit surveys were completed. An online comment form collected an additional five submission. Your feedback was shared with the project team.
