Crime Prevention Tip  The Winnipeg Police Service will be in the William Whyte area for a "HOME SMART" Safety Initiative on July 14th and 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  We will have officers in the area going door to door providing Crime Prevention tips to homeowners.    We will also have our Caravan set up at William Whyte School, 200 Powers Street, for anyone to drop by and ask questions about Crime Prevention.   Come meet our officers and learn more about how to protect your property.  DID YOU KNOW?   * Almost half of all residential B&E's occur through an unlocked door.   * Most forced entry B&E's take less than 3 minutes to occur.
