Crime Prevention Tip

In today's fast paced world, many of us find ourselves tasked with many duties and responsibilities.   This results in many people hustling to and from work, school, sporting events, family commitments and other responsibilities.  It is common for many of us to become engrossed in our immediate surroundings as a result.  This can result in folks being more susceptible to victimization.  The following are some helpful tips to prevent becoming victims of crime.

1) When parking your vehicle, attempt to park in well lit, well-traveled areas.

2) When approaching your vehicle in a parking lot / space, have your key in hand (ready to unlock your door).

3) Refrain from tunneling in to hand held electronic devices such as cell phones and IPod while walking  in public places.

4) Never carry purse or bag straps around your neck when walking out in the public.
