Sunday, October 7, 2018   Assault with a Weapon – Investigation: C18-221578   On October 7, 2018, at approximately 7:15 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of an assault in the area of Ellice Avenue and McGee Street.   Upon arrival, officers located a male in his 20's suffering from stab wound injuries. He was transported to hospital condition in critical condition and has since been upgraded to stable condition.   This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
