New Opportunities for Engagement with the City of Winnipeg

City of Winnipeg Launches Let's Talk for Budget 2017
 
The City of Winnipeg launched Let's Talk, an online forum for the public to provide input into the City's 2017 budget. Until October 30, the public can provide online feedback on their budget priorities, preferences and ideas.
 
In addition, this year's budget planning process will be enhanced through the addition of five community-based consultations to be held at locations across Winnipeg. These consultations will be open to all members of the public and community organizations.
 
The dates, locations, and times of the community consultations are as follows:

Public open house for the Saskatchewan Avenue Road Reconstruction and Sturgeon Creek Culvert Replacement Project

You are invited to attend a public open house about the Saskatchewan Avenue Road Reconstruction and Sturgeon Creek Culvert Replacement Project.
 
The primary objective of this project is to develop a preferred preliminary design which improves the flow of Sturgeon Creek, prevents Saskatchewan Avenue from flooding and improves its road condition. At the same time, the City's multi-use path network will be expanded with enhancements to pedestrian and cycling facilities along Sturgeon Creek and Saskatchewan Avenue.

Public Open House for the Winnipeg Zoning By-law Review

You are invited to attend a public open house on proposed amendments to the Winnipeg Zoning By-law No. 200/2006.

As part of the OurWinnipeg Implementation Plan, the City of Winnipeg has committed to reviewing its two zoning by-laws – the Winnipeg Zoning By-law and the Downtown Zoning By-law – on a regular basis to address any errors and omissions, and to improve clarity and alignment with the policies of OurWinnipeg and the Complete Communities Direction Strategy.

Collecting Feedback Online for the Waverley Underpass Project

A detailed design for the Waverley Underpass project is currently underway. Two open house sessions were held on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
