Public Information Session: Southwest Rapid Transitway (Stage 2)

New Opportunities for Engagement with the City of Winnipeg Residents invited to a public information session for the Southwest Rapid Transitway (Stage 2) You're invited to attend a public information session for the Southwest Rapid Transitway (Stage 2) Project.   The project is comprised of significant infrastructure components in the southwest quadrant of the city, including: the Southwest Rapid Transitway (Stage 2); the addition of pedestrian and cycling infrastructure adjacent to the Transitway, through the Pembina Underpass, and into the Southwood lands; the renewal and expansion of the Pembina Underpass; and connections to the University of Manitoba and Investors Group Field.   The project improvements will allow citizens to move in a more sustainable and integrated manner.   Construction of the Southwest Rapid Transitway (Stage 2) Project is scheduled to begin in summer 2016, with completion expected in late 2019.
