Keep purses secure and carry wallets in an inside or front pocket. Carry only what you need with you If you must bring a bag with you carry it in front of you with flaps against your body. Make sure all of the pockets on your bag are completely closed Don't show your money — keep it safely in your pocket. Keep your money in a hard-to-reach place As much as you can avoid the display of jewelry. In a crowd, pay attention to your surroundings especially when someone is standing very close to you or when you are jostled.
