Thursday, May 19, 2016             Indecent Act – C16-85748     Public Assistance Requested in identifying Person of Interest:     On April 30, 2016 at approximately 6:50 p.m., an unknown male entered a city transit bus in the area of Main Street and St. Mary Avenue.     The male attended to the rear of the bus in close proximity to a young child. A short time later a passenger yelled out, indicating that the male was exposing himself.     The male exited the bus in the area of Grant Avenue and Centennial Street.     He is described as a Caucasian male, 45-55 years old, average build, short brown hair, wearing a red and black baseball cap with a white button on the beak, brown leather jacket, white shirt, black belt, dark shoes and blue jeans.                      The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this male is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).           Motor Vehicle Collision Involving Cyclist – C16-99678 On May 18, 2016 at approximately 7:50 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle collision at Grosvenor Avenue and Wellington Crescent involving a BMW and cyclist.     The investigation has revealed that the BMW was being operated westbound on Wellington Crescent approaching Grosvenor Avenue. The driver proceeded to turn (left) in a southerly direction onto Grosvenor Avenue when the collision occurred.     A 22 year old male cyclist sustained multiple injuries and was transported from the scene in unstable condition. Thankfully his condition has improved and he is currently listed in stable condition.     At this time, it appears that the driver was blinded temporarily by the sun as he made the left turn just prior to the collision.     The Investigation is continuing by members of the Central Traffic Unit. Anyone with further information regarding the collision is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6271.       With summer weather upon us, we are seeing more traffic on Winnipeg roadways.
