Theft from Mailboxes – C15-166726
Recently, members of the Division 11 Crime Unit have been investigating multiple reports of mailbox break-ins at various
addresses in the downtown area.  They include:
 
-400 block of Maryland Street
-1st 100 block of Cornish Avenue
-100 block of Young Street
-100 block of Balmoral Street
-300 block of Kennedy Street
-400 block of Kennedy Street
-1st 100 block of Carlton Street
-100 block of Donald Street
-100 block of Smith Street
-200 block of Portage Avenue
-300 block of Broadway
 
In each incident, a male is able to gain access to the vestibule area where he proceeds to pry open the mailboxes and steal the mail from within.  Damage is estimated to be in excess of $11,000.00.
 
Investigators are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the person of interest below:
