Ongoing Opportunities for Engagement with the City of Winnipeg

Help shape the off-leash dog areas master plan

Go online and fill out a survey and add to an online mapping tool to provide your feedback for the master plan to address and respond to growing interest and demand for off-leash dog areas in Winnipeg. Thank you to those who visited pop-up events to share their feedback in person. Today is the last day to submit feedback through the mapping tool and online survey. All park users are encouraged to contribute.

For more information, to fill out the mapping tool and survey, or to view the presentation boards online, please visit winnipeg.ca/offleashareas.

Adjustable bike lane curbs pilot

The City installed adjustable bike lane curbs in two locations to test installation methods, monitor maintenance, and assess the comfort level of users.

For more information, to fill out a survey or to view a map of the changes online, please visit winnipeg.ca/walkbikeprojects and select an adjustable bike lane curbs project. The survey will be open for the duration of the pilot project.

Seine Riverbank stabilization public engagement summary

The City met with nine stakeholders in September 2017 to introduce the project and gather feedback on construction access, access to the Seine River, and vehicular, pedestrian, and cyclist circulation. A public information session was held on November 8, 2017 at the Notre Dame Community Centre to inform the public about the project. Thirteen people attended with six completing a survey. An online survey was open from October 25, 2017 to November 16, 2017. A total of 12 surveys were submitted.

A summary of what we heard is not available on the project webpage. To view the public engagement summary and learn more about the project, please visit winnipeg.ca/Seineriverstabilization
