Ongoing Opportunities for Engagement with the City of Winnipeg

Downtown Dog Park Survey

The City of Winnipeg recognizes the need for an off-leash dog park in the downtown area and is launching a process for community input. A neighbourhood dog park that is within a 5-10 minute walk to residents in Downtown Winnipeg is being considered.

We want to gather feedback from the public to help us better understand where dog owners live in the downtown, where residents would like to see an off-leash dog park built and preferences for dog park amenities. The results of the survey will assist in locating and planning a dog park.

To complete the Downtown Dog Park survey visit City of Winnipeg – Downtown Dog Park. The survey will be open until January 20, 2016.

William R. Clement Parkway Extension Open House

The public is invited to an open house about the William R. Clement Parkway (WRCP) Extension Study. The WRCP Extension is an important component of the City of Winnipeg's future transportation system, providing a north-south link in west Winnipeg. This study will guide the implementation of the WRCP Extension.

Join us at the open house to view presentation boards outlining the alignment options and project details, speak with project team members, and provide input.

When: Tuesday, January 19, 2016

Time: 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (drop-in format)

Where: Charleswood United Church, 4820 Roblin Boulevard

For more information and to view updated study materials in advance of the open house, please visit City of Winnipeg - William R. Clement Parkway

If you are unable to attend the open house, an online survey will be available until February 2, 2016.
