Thursday, January 22, 2015     Update - Serious Assault Investigation - 2nd Arrest - C14-43973 As previously released - On March 1, 2014 at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers responded to a bar located in the 700 block of Maryland Street regarding a fight involving two male suspects.   Attending members located a 60 year-old male victim with serious upper body injuries.   The investigation revealed that a verbal altercation erupted between two males and the victim. The dispute escalated at which time the victim was physically assaulted.   The suspects fled and the victim was transported to hospital.   The investigation continued by members of the Division 11 Crime Unit.   Investigators requested the public's assistance and surveillance photos of the suspects were made public. Due to this assistance, one of the suspects was identified and arrested.   On June 7, 2014, Farrell ROSS, 25 years of Winnipeg was located and arrested.
