Declared Snow Route Parking Ban lifted; Residential Parking Ban in effect starting today at 7:00 p.m. Motorists urged to park elsewhere when a residential street is scheduled for snow clearing; citizens encouraged to "Know Your Zone" The Declared Snow Route Parking Ban that was put into effect at 12:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27 has now been lifted. The Annual Snow Route Parking Ban remains in effect nightly from 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on streets designated as snow routes until March 1, 2017. To facilitate snow clearing operations a Residential Parking Ban has been declared and will be in effect starting at 7:00 p.m. this evening until Saturday at 7:00 a.m. Plowing of residential streets will begin at 7:00 p.m. today in snow zones D, G, H, P, R and V. Citizens are urged to confirm their snow zone letter in order to determine when their residential street is scheduled for clearing. You can find your snow zone with the Address Lookup Tool, by contacting 311 or by using the Know Your Zone app. Citizens are encouraged to find out their snow zone letter well in advance of the start of the residential plow and to make alternate parking arrangements if they park on the street. RESIDENTIAL PARKING BAN SCHEDULE Wednesday, December 28 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29 D, G, H, P, R, V Thursday, December 29 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. C, F, I, K, N, S, U Thursday, December 29 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Friday, December 30 B, J, L, M, O, Q, T Friday, December 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Friday, December 30 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31 E Avoid a ticket and tow For the residential streets that are scheduled, residents are urged to find an alternate place to park such as an off-street driveway or parking lot, or a nearby street that is not currently scheduled for plowing. This will help the plowing operation run smoothly and will prevent you from being ticketed and towed.     Vehicles parked in violation of the Residential Parking Ban may receive a $150 ticket ($75 if paid early), and may be towed to a nearby street that is not scheduled to be plowed, or has already been cleared. If you believe your vehicle may have been towed due to the Residential Parking Ban, please contact 311 for assistance in locating it.
