Wednesday, November 16, 2016 Medic Call – C16-240130 Shortly after midnight on November 16, 2016, Winnipeg Police attended to a residence located in the first one hundred block of Petriw Bay to check on the well-being of an individual residing there. Attending officers observed a non-responsive male within the residence and forced entry. Police located the bodies of three deceased adults (one male and two females) within the residence. Officers also located a quantity of an unknown white powder and various drug paraphernalia within the home. Members of the Winnipeg Police Service Clandestine Lab Unit were called to assist in securing the home. This investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time. Motor Vehicle Collision – C16-240250 On November 16, 2016, at approximately 6:40 a.m., emergency services personnel responded to the area of Regent Avenue West and Owen Street for a motor vehicle collision that had just occurred between a City of Winnipeg transit bus and passenger vehicle.
