Thursday, December 6, 2012 ASSAULT – C12-245976 On Thursday, December 6, 2012 at approximately 8:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service and other emergency personnel were dispatched to the 200 block of Carlton Street regarding the report of an assault. Attending members located a male victim lying on the ground suffering from unknown injuries. The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable. Witnesses to the assault advised that three suspects had fled in a vehicle just prior to police arrival. This vehicle, observed by general patrol members a short time later was stopped and the three occupants placed under arrest without incident. An adult male and two adult females are currently in custody. The investigation is continuing by members of the Division 11 Crime Unit and no further information is available at this time.
