SHOTS INCIDENTS C14-35509 C14-35535
On February 18, 2014 at 1:15 a.m., officers responded to the sound of shots in the area of the first 100 block of Matheson Avenue.
 
Attending member's located damage to the front of the residence including evidence to suggest a firearm discharge occurred. The occupants were not injured.
 
At approximately 2:00 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to another residence located in the first 100 block of Beaufort Crescent regarding similar circumstances. Damage was observed to the front of the home however, no injuries were reported.
 
Members of the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Section.
 
Investigators are looking into the possibility that these incidents may be related.
